The 1957 Building will be a three-story, 32,000 sq. ft., Class A office and residential building currently being developed at the northeast corner of 51st Street and Barney Circle (a half block west of State Line Rd.), in Mission Woods, KS. The 1957 Building will be the newest addition to the 1900 Building campus, which includes the 1900 Building, the Barney Building, and the 1968 Building.
Sitting atop a two-story garage, the 1957 Building will have commanding, unobstructed views in all directions.
The 1957 Building design features a distinctive faceted-curve shape, expansive glass facades, wood-outlined terraces, and robust concrete structural elements that provide a sense of permanence and strength. The interiors will have plentiful natural light, high ceilings, and can accommodate a ceiling design featuring the beautiful, exposed precast concrete. The mechanical and electrical systems will be efficient, state-of-the-art equipment. The elevator, lobbies and stair towers will have modernist aesthetic with natural wood elements.
The 1957 Building tenants will benefit from the amenities of the 1900 Building, including The Restaurant at 1900, performance and event spaces, and exercise facilities.
Construction of the 1957 Building is scheduled for completion in the Fall of 2026.
